My passion for baking and cooking is as strong as my passion for writing. I’ve really come to enjoy gardening this summer as well, and also grew some vegetables and melons from seed this spring. While some seeds didn’t fully materialize for planting, most did. It’s been especially fun watching the watermelons and pickles grow, and at times challenging keeping out the critters. The rewards of fresh produce are well worth the challenges!
For me watching our garden grow and develop into full size produce has really become synonymous and quite symbolic with the characters I create. It’s a process and takes time, but the end results are so rewarding and fruitful!
Another pastime I enjoy is playing cards on a summer afternoon with my boyfriend, for our championship games, most particularly Gin Rummy!
